Nathan's first day of school was today. His teacher is Mr. Brown.
After waiting at the bus stop for Nathan for half an hour, and running home three times for potty breaks and to call the school, Nathan's bus finally showed up. His bus was having problems with the doors so he was stuck at school for an extra half hour while they fixed it. While we were walking home, I asked Nathan how his day at school was and he said, "First grade doesn't stink."
Nathan is in a combined first-second grade class which means he will have Mr. Brown as a teacher next year and he is in a class with first and second graders. He said that he likes Mr. Brown. Nathan's favorite thing today was wiggling his bottom at the end of his music class when his teacher told the class to do it.

So he will have the same teacher for two years in a row? I'm glad he likes school so much.
