Philip and I decided to go to Africa. We would love any advice on what to pack and take to the airport for those that have been. Now we just have to get the shots, yuck!
YAY!!! It is totally worth it. It is so awesome to go there. The only thing I recommend is packing light, but bringing extra suitcases inside your suitcases so that your parents can send home lots of stuff with you. They have a lot of stuff.
Oh...and having a good camera (or two) made a huge difference. HAVE FUN!

yeah! that is so excititng...when do you go? No advice on what to pack unless you can fit me in your suitcase
